SOUR CREAM BACON
RANCH DIP
Serve with colorful Bell pepper strips and other vegetable sticks such as carrots, celery or cucumber rounds. You may also serve this with low-carb crackers or low-carb taco chips (made from low-carb tortillas or baked cheese) or pork rinds. Obviously potato chips are out, but low-carb tortilla chips are an option.
I don’t like dill, so I left it out, but you are welcome to add it and add as much as you like to taste.
If you are serving a crowd, you can easily double this recipe. You are still unlikely to have leftovers. This is a wonderful dip for parties and other gatherings like potlucks.
Some people refer to this dip as crack dip to indicate its addictive nature. The lovely bold flavors are always a hit! I did not add packet seasonings, but made my own for this dip recipe. Keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve. You could also call this a bacon cheddar ranch dip. Appetizers like this are such a hit and very low-carb when served with veggies such as celery sticks or carrot sticks or even broccoli and cauliflower florets. Many dips have cream cheese in them, but this one does not. This appetizer is great for game day. Serve cold from the fridge. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge or simply cover the dish with plastic wrap.
I topped this appetizer with real bacon bits for garnish, taste and looks. This is such an easy dip recipe that I am sure it will be one you will want to keep when time is a factor or when you want a spectacular dip that will be enjoyed by everyone. There is no garlic or mayo in this dip.
