Serve with low-carb crackers or veggie dippers. This dip is like a meal in a dip - so substantial. My husband was crazy about it! I served it with these crackers and made the round shapes (see the link) and used Mozzarella cheese for a change instead of Monterey Jack.
Keep this dip chilled in the refrigerator until serving time and then bake just before serving. In a pinch if this dip is in a microwave safe bowl or dish, you can microwave it just before serving. Any leftovers should be kept in an airtight container in the fridge, but if it has been standing out a long time or your climate is hot, then ditch any leftovers.
You could serve this dip with homemade low-carb tortilla chips made out of low-carb tortillas. This cheesy sausage dip - a cheese dip with a difference - is sure to become a favorite, especially among the guys.
